The simplest thing you can do with Expense Shark is to make a record of the thing that you do most : spend money. We can track expenses by opening generic messaging app on your mobile phone, creating a message of your expense, and sending the message. That’s it. The app will take care of creating the expense record and you will receive an email of the record so that you have the opportunity to review and correct errors.

The version of Expense Shark tailored to the Independent Contractor includes the ability to create and maintain expense records. You may relate expense records to a checking account or to a credit account. You may relate your expenses to a Job or to Customer.

Do you need to know how much you have spent for a particular customer or job for this month? or this week? You can do that with your phone, too.

To make things easy at tax time, expenses can be categorized and expense categories can be customized. Default includes most of the 1040 schedule C Part 2 Expense categories that you are accustomed to, and then some.
